A former student of Presidency College, Kolkata, Nandalal Chakraborti Joined West Bengal Education Service in 1981 and since then he has been teaching in different Govt. Colleges. He was a deponent of Hon'ble Justice Mukherjee Commission of Inquiry into the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He participated in the hearing of the Hon'ble Commission both at home and abroad. He visited Taipei and Bangkok to take part in the Hon'ble Commission's examination of witnesses and visited Russian Federation to participate in the Hon'ble Commission's examination of witnesses and inspection of archival documents. He submitted written arguments to the Hon'ble Commission on the disappearance of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Participated in the Annual Conference of the I.P.E.A. at Darjeeling in 2000.
