A Former student of Presidency College, Kolkata, Abdus Samad Gayen Joined West Bengal Education Service in 1991 and since then he has been teaching Political Science in different Govt. Colleges. Joined Presidency College in December 2006. He has participated in many seminars and symposiums and has offered papers in National and International Humanist Conferences too. He has contributed a number of articles on Modern Indian Society and Politics to different journals.
