Alak Kumar Syamal, Asstt. Professor (SG)

Area of Specialisation: Ergonomics and Work Physiology 

Alak Kumar Syamal is Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology, Presidency College, Kolkata. He obtained M.Sc. Degree in Physiology from Calcutta University in 1985. He received M.Phil in Environmental Science from the same University in 1986. In 1986 he joined All India Institute of Hygiene and Public Health as Research Officer. He began his faculty career in the Department of Physiology at Krishnagar Government College, Nadia in 1988 as Lecturer and was promoted to Assistant Professor and Head of the Department. In 2001 he joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology, Presidency College, Kolkata.
