 Gondwana sedimentation in different basins of Peninsular India with special emphasis on depositional processes and basin tectonics.
 Mechanism and classification of high density flows.
 Laboratory simulation of Grain flow and development of inverse grading.
 Laboratory simulation of the depositional mechanisms involved in the accumulation of carbonate eolianites of Saurashtra
