Undergraduate: B.Sc (Hons.) in Geography.
Student in-take – 20 per year through Admission Test.
Eligibility for Application: 1) applicants must have either "mathematics + geography" as two of the six major subjects (for candidates with Geography) or "mathematics + physics + chemistry" as three of the six major subjects (for candidates without Geography) in H.S. or equivalent level 2) 70% marks in Aggregate and 70% Marks in Geography (for applicants with geography) and 3) 70% Marks in Aggregate and 60% Marks in Mathematics (for applicants without geography)

Postgraduate: M.Sc in Geography. Presidency College is academically autonomous with its own Board of Studies and Academic Calendar. Till now Advanced Cartography and Geoinformatics, Population and Welfare Geography, Fluvial Geomorphology and Geomorphology of the Humid Tropics are offered as Special Paper. Student in-take 25 per year through Admission Test from 2007-08 Session.

Ph.D Programme: Scholars carry out Ph.D Research under the Supervisorship of the Departmental Faculty. Registration under Calcutta University (till now)
