Dr Debalina Banerjee,

Rank holder and National Scholar in All India Higher Secondary Exam, 1974 under CBSE, Debalina Banerjee did her Graduation and Post- Graduation from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Her Ph.D. is on the Woman Question and late Victorian Novels, awarded in 1995. She has served in various Government colleges under W.B.E.S., as well as the Director, Institute of English, Kolkata, a Post Graduate ELT and autonomous institute under the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal. Dr. Banerjee has several published books and articles to her credit. She has acted as Resource person in Refresher Courses conducted by the University of Calcutta and Jadavpur University. She has also been on academic and administrative committees of colleges served, as well as associated with the University of Kalyani, University of Burdwan, the SLET commission N.E. Region, Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya, Central School Service Commission and the W.B. Public Service Commission. She is presently 24 years in the W.B.E.S., now Reader in the Department of English, Presidency College, Kolkata.
